God made a miracle in my life and to my husband, because i really obeyed his commandment to give back to Him, – just influenced my husband-(not a tither before), my church mates about true tithing… and even share something to our pastor, aside from tithing.
also, I keep on praying…make me a channel of your blessing Lord, and it works/happens…Thank you for the gift….Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for such a wonderfule book on tithing. I have never seen a book that was written for, and dedicated to tithing. It comes at an excellent time as my new year\’s resolution is tithing. Hopefully it will help place in proper perspective my tithing for the year 2010. I will respond after I have had the opportunity to read the book.

Thank you so much for this generous gift! I’ve been a faithful tithe payer my whole life and have literally seen miracles as a result. While I see blessings from God in many aspects of my life, most of them come in more of a spiritual way. There is something so unique and faith-promoting to see the hand of God blessing me in such a temporal, tangible way as money. I truly believe that tithing is an amazing blessing, and feel so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has given this commandment as an opportunity to bless us. I have a question what if u only do offerings cuz I pay for school and other unexpected bills due to bankruptcy. I know about the tithe but I’m paying 2 phones school and all until April I can tithe. Advice.

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints{Mormon}. I have paid tithing since before I joined.
There was a time about 5 years after joining the church, I was recently divorced; I had one chicken and about one cup of rice for the next 2 weeks; I had $35.00; I could buy food or pay tithing. I had been taught that if we pay tithing all will work out as it should. I chose to pay tithing.
A couple of my friends noticed I wasn’t my normal cheerful self and ask what was going on; I told them. They were in the same position as I was. They each gave me something from their cupboards. And a couple days later ladies from my church helped me get food from the church food store. Then a couple days later a friend I hadn’t seen for a while showed up with bags of groceries; she said she had more than she could use and wondered if I could use it. She was a divorced woman with 4 young children. What a lesson for all of us.
I am convinced that tithing is the way to go.
Thank you for the gift! I definitely believe tithing is what God requires and expects us to do. I have been so blessed when I tithe. There have been times when I did not feel I could tithe; however, if I went ahead and tithed, God blessed me by providing what I needed. Tithing is just a way of giving back a portion of what God has given me and He deserves so much more. I enjoy the “Chicken Soup” books and I am excited to read this book.

I believe the more you give the more you get back from God. We don’t have a big cash flow but we give when we can. It does not have to be money. Last Xmas my friend who is a local Pastor and myself fed the homeless in a local area for their Xmas party and we are doing it again for Easter. It is amazing how many people have come forward to help us with this wonderful venture. One lady gives me $20.00 when she can to contirubte. There is so many things we can do for one another.

in developing economies incomes are so low that tome any such people tithing are dubing others to make-up. people are paid $80.00- $120 but spend $220 a month. the church is seen to encourage evil in our societies. again chech the book of Hebrew 7 the whole chapter. relate this to 1st Timothy 5vrs 8 & 1st Corrinthians 16 vrs 1. please let us believe in the Spiritual side of the Religion not the man made which never made man perfect.
This book was very disappointing…it’s nothing but church propaganda to make money for the church and who ever is preaching there..ie. minister etc. According to this book, tithing, (donating) is only counted in God’s eyes if given to a church. Yes, it says you can donate money to someone else but to reap any benefits in your own life, such as money coming back to you, tithing has to be given to a church; otherwise you just get a ‘feel good’ feeling in return. The church is using God as an excuse to make money for themselves and the preachers. God is not human nor was he ever. He is a spiritual life force and therefore can’t be given human emotions and demands. (Jesus on the other hand was a human) God doesn’t demand money for churches, people who wrote the bible do-and no, God didn’t tell them to say that. Giving money to real causes like the hungry, homeless, animals, etc. is just as spiritually rewarding. Don’t be duped into giving only to churches. You’ll be rewarded as well giving to other causes.
