Chelsea King Prayer Request
It is so hard when we hear news like this. It was reported at about 1pm today that they found what is believed to be the body of Chelsea King at a place called the "shoe" at Lake Hodges in Escondido Ca. Which is about 2 miles from my house.
My family has ridden bikes, flown RC planes and enjoyed the Lake hundreds of times. Now when we go we will always remember Chelsea King and her family.
My youngest daughter heard the news before I did and we are all very sad.
Please hold the family and our community up in prayer and leave your prayer below.
Father God please comfort the King family and give everyone of the family members peace. Watch over them and direct there ways give them wisdom and energy and the will to make something good of this tragedy. Please send your angels to watch over the community and take away the fear from the other children who are so close to this terrible situation.

My thoughts and prayers are with the King family, your community and all who have been touched by this and other crimes like this. I haven’t seen Roberta and Vince Roper since I moved to FLorida but they too lost a beautiful daughter about 30/40 years ago and started the Stephanie Roper Foundation. They assist families of victims of heinous crimes. The name was changed to MD Crime victims Resource Center http://www.mdcrimevictims.org/ God’s hand supports that organization and all who work there. Perhaps they might be of assistance during this horrific time. Although your life will never be the same, hopefully you will find ways to sooth and comfort yourselves. Sending you love, hope and prayers for a bright future. One life is already too many for the predator to claim. Don’t let him take the life out of you! I am sure your lovely daughter would want that for you.
As a parent and grandparent my prayers are with this family. I saw the interview with them before their Chelsea’s body was found. I was amazed at their strength but knew from where it came. May God give them that same strength through the next few days and His healing touch in the years to come.
I believe Chelsea is NOT dead. She left this temporal mortal body and lives eternaly. One I will also leave this mortal body and will live eternally.
I pray that Jesus Christ, the God of all Comfort, Comfort each one in their family.

Oh how my heart breaks for sweet Chelsea’s family as I know the heartbreak of loosing a child…I have three sons in Heaven.
Dear Jesus, there’s no pain like the pain this family is now having to suffer. The brokeness is something that I know only you can bring healing and comfort to. Please Lord stay with them and comfort their hearts in the days, weeks, months and years to come. May they feel your everlasting arms wrapped around them and holding them when they feel like they can’t continue on.

I heard she was missing. I discovered that Chelsea left this life by hearing the Priest at the Mission San Diego d’ Alcala offer up the Mass for her on Wednesday. They have mentioned her as the final name with such tenderness in the prayers for the deceased every day since then.
We do not understand your reasons, but know that you have a plan that brings good out of every evil.
My prayer is three- fold. First for her immediate family – her parents and brother. That you console them, allow her spirit in heaven with you to console them in her own special way and your own special way. Lessen their grief of her absence over time ….and fill their hearts, body, mind, and spirits with hope and joy in a future that you have planned for them even though it does not include her.
Secondly, for her friends, family and the community that will miss her and are traumatized and violated by this horrific crime. Heal them please.
Thirdly, for your Divine Mercy to pierce and penetrate the heart of her offender. History repeats itself and victimizers were usually victims themselves in some tragic way. That he may have true repentance for his crime and for the conversion of his soul.

When words fail, tears flow.
Tears have a language all their own, a tongue that needs no interpreter. In some mysterious way, our complex inner-communication system knows when to admit its verbal limitations …. and the tears come.
Our tears may flow during the singing of a great, majestic hymn, or when we are alonge, lost in some vivid memoray or wrestling in prayer.
Did you know that God takes special notice of those tears of yours? Psalm 56:8 tells us that He puts them in His bottle and enters them into the record He keeps on our lives. David said : \"The Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.\"
A teardrop on earth summons the King of Heaven. Rather than being ashamed or disappointed, the Lord takes note of our inner friction when hard times are oiled by tears. He turns these situations into moments of tenderness; He never forgets those crises in our lives where tears were shed.
While in severe pain, a man of God names Horatius Bonar recorded his response in verse :
Thy way not mine O Lord, However dark it be!
Lead me by Thine own hand; Choose out my path for me.
I dare not choose my lot: I would not, if I might;
Choose Thou for me, my God, So shall I walk aright …
The kingdom that I seek is Thine: so let the way
That leads to it be Tine, Else I must surely stray.

Our Father in heaven, I pray for the family of Chelsea King’s family to have peace, give them understanding and strength during this period of time. Exchange your joy for their sorrows. When they think of Chelsea and are sad let them feel her special hugs and know everything will be ok. The only reason you let tragedies happen in our lives is to bring us closer to you Lord.

Heavenly Father of Heaven and Earth your grand footstole, we know in all things you can bring your LOVE shinning through to this family and show them that even in unmentionable events such as this you can turn this to Glory for them and YOU.Please some how give them the healing that only you Jesus can give in a manner that is beyond our understanding, I pray you will one day read the book the SHACK and remember Adam whose dad started something beautiful and unremarkable out of his pain and loss of Adam. God will reveal an amazing Love to you through this brokeness, Hold tight.
