Who is this Seal for?

This participation seal is intended for any online or interactive product designed for use by children and that wishes to demonstrate its commitment to designing safe and age-appropriate digital experiences for children and families. This seal is ideal for the following types of products/companies.

Pre-Launch Products

Products in development that want to be affiliated with kidSAFE, but are not yet ready to be tested for certification

Low-Budget Products

Startups, smaller enterprises, and other cost-constrained organizations (e.g., nonprofits) seeking a budget-friendly way to differentiate their products and gain visibility on the kidSAFE directory

Products with Minimal Data Collection

Consumer-facing digital products with minimal data collection (e.g., informational websites, smart TV apps, games and toys with offline digital play experiences, etc.)

Products Not Regulated by COPPA

Companies based outside of the US whose digital products do not attract US consumers
